On May 18, 2022, we arrived in Amsterdam for a long awaited trip to Europe. During our 14-day trip, we visited the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Switzerland. Two days were spent in The Hague before boarding the Viking Eir for a seven-day river cruise on the Rhine River. Following the cruise, we spent two days in Lucerne, Switzerland.
As always, the Viking experience, both on the river cruise and the land extensions, was wonderful. We saw many interesting places, ate great food, and experienced some European culture.
