We spent the morning sailing the Elbe River before docking in Meissen just after lunch.  Our day's tour was to the Meissen Porcelain Factory where we saw beautiful, handcrafted dinnerware and other porcelain pieces being created.  We were surprised at how expensive it was.  After the factory tour, we had time to explore Meissen on our own.  The castle on the hill looked intriguing, but the climb to it was too much for us.  We elected to just view it from below.
