Sea day on the baltic
Early light stirred us from sleep, and we were soon dressed and ready for the day—only to discover it was just 5:30 a.m. Our watches hadn’t adjusted to the new time zone. Outside, the sea was calm, stretching endlessly beneath a wide-open sky. With hours to spare, we took our time easing into the morning before meeting with the Viking Travel Consultant to book another cruise—this time to the Christmas Markets in December.
A galley tour gave a brief view of the kitchen in operation. It was interesting to see the staff working behind the scenes.
The spa was the perfect place to spend a quiet afternoon unwinding. The thermal pool felt wonderful, and the snow grotto added a unique twist to the spa experience. What a way to end our sea day!
